by agent easy If you revealed the card as a shadow effect, you don't deal the damage. It only happens when revealed during questing.

by RPardoe No. Notice, the text under Resolve Shadow Effect on page 18 indicates the card is flipped (not revealed) and any shadow effect is resolved.
