HiI too love this game but the problem with it imo and it is a big one, is that decks require the same cards to be utilised repeatedly.
Due to the very nasty game finishing "when revealed" and shadow effects, I honestly believe that each players deck, requires spirit in there, whether directly via a hero, or added via a song.
You need the max "hasty strokes" and "test of will" at the very least and I always have "The Galadhrim's Greeting" and "Unexpected Courage" and some other firm favourites which are down to my own experience and may be changed but the HS and TOW are fixed in stone.
Many of the scenarios are simply unwinnable without these cancel effect cards in a deck.
Unlike a CCG, these LCG do not have a market for individual cards and so far, I have bought 2 core sets and every expansion and in order for me to have 4 playable decks, I have had to write proxy cards, for my spirit mainstay cards.
This is very annoying, when I think I have spent best part of 200 quid or 400 dollars on the game and can't put together 4 decks, using official cards yet.
Maybe this will change, if other spheres can cope with the encounter deck's "when revealed" effect better but untill then, I have to make do with my mates saying "ughh! should this crappy bit of paper with TOW written on it, stuck to a magic card, be in this deck?
