Rule questions springing up right away.First a sort of simple one, perhaps. Triggering Pippin's ability will not prevent that enemy's "after it engages" ability, right?
Now for Small Target. Two questions here actually. What if the other enemy does not have a Shadow card, does it count? Or, what if you cancel the Shadow effect with the likes of Hasty Stroke?
Then, if there is no Shadow effect either of the possible ways, how does the Shadow effect of the initial enemy work? Giving it an attack bonus seems straightforward but what if it does something else, like stealing money from you, does it still trigger? I guess so.
Note that the Hobbit must exhaust to defend, so the card doesn't work in case you had previously played the Beacons, for instance.
