Ok, I wanted to try a deck of mine, which was built from only a single Core Set (originally posted here) to defeat the first two Core scenarios (I have no illusions that it would fail utterly at Dol Guldur).I had no trouble beating Passage Through Mirkwood with it, but never tried it against Journey Down the Anduin, until today.
I was prepared to write down a couple defeats before getting through the scenario, but right on my first attempt, thanks to a great starting hand and equally good first draws, I managed to make it.
