Depending on what you want, there might be a few packs in the Dwarrowdelf cycle, which have really cool player cards. But in general, a single set just doesn't add that much to the player side. It does collect over time, though, and eventually, you have a lot of player cards to choose from and build a wide variety of decks.Just start somewhere, set your pace, and travel the way while enjoying the nice landscape. :)
