Couldn't agree more... There are already a ton of LotR themed board/card games targeted to casual gamers, so it seems at least fair that there should be a couple targeted to gamers that knew about Middle-Earth before the movies. Well, one of the things that annoys me is that they have obviously tried to have their cake and eat it. It is positioned as 'playable out of the box', a 'complete game' etc., and deck building is (in the rules) positioned as an 'advanced game'. Whereas, in fact, there is no game without deck building. There will be lots of people who have bought this on its casual positioning, and throw their hands up in horror. Fortunately for many, there are sites like this to show them what they have really bought, and how to play it.
