I'd really like a good hard look from FFG at the turn sequence. I think I can count on one hand the number of games where I've played all the way through WITHOUT forgetting some stage or step. And that's with a sequence cheat card with me. I'd love some simplified rules, specifically around questing and combat.It also feels like you can't build a single deck that can do well in EVERY scenario. You just about have to re-build your deck for each scenario. Of course, revised solo rules would be nice. I've seen the fan made ones and they work OK, but it still feels like working outside of the framework.
Crazy thought for new sets. Flip it and have us play Saruman or an orc brigade? Maybe the Mordor set could have us playing the bad guys. That could also maybe bring in the possibility of some deck duels or maybe, for multiplayer games, a raid deck like the WoW TCG game has. One player runs the scenario, the rest play it?
That actually sounds kind of fun, has anyone seen any fan rules or have any house rules for that? Either a raid deck scenario or a duel between to decks?
