I disagree on Brok. He is over costed, yes. But he's still powerful enough to play, combos with Zigil Miner and his ability is occasionally a game-saver.I also think For Gondor! is awesome, it lets you turn the tide of combat when you are getting overwhelmed by either too many or too large enemies.
