What I did was to deckbuild my own 2-sphere decks for co-op play for the core set scenarios. With 29 cards per sphere there's not much to take out to end up with a 50-card deck. Doing it myself made it easy to work out where my decks were weak - not enough questing power/attack/defense, too high a starting threat, and so on.After each failure I'd tweak the deck (or start again from scratch!) and try again until I'd succeeded at all three scenarios 2-player. I then went back and built solo decks (still haven't beaten Dol Guldur solo tho').
In hindsight I'm glad I didn't use recommended decks as I wouldn't have understood as well why they worked.
