If you want to build a really strong deck, that will win almost always against this scenario, you could try Aragorn (Lore), Frodo and Glorfindel (Spirit), then add all the fancy Lore and Spirit stuff (any maybe some Leadership via Song of Kings).You could also try this deck (or a similar deck), which has Elrond instead of Aragorn, but likewise beats that scenario with ease.
