Also noticed you do not play Unexpected Courage. Does the other deck also have Spirit? :)That card is just waaaay too good to not play.
As for Ancient Mathom (which is a great idea) and the Stargazer: You could reduce the number of Stargazers to 1 (you don't really need them for any combo stuff in that deck, so one is all you really need in play, and it is not that important to get her out either) to make some room.
Quick Strike works exactly like that (it is pretty much what it does, "block" an enemy, that you can easily kill with just one character; with Support of the Eagles it can even work against stronger enemies; it is kinda like a weaker form of Feint in that regard).
Since you can only heal your eagles (ok, Gimli can and does want to take some damage), it is actually not such a bad idea to reduce the amount of blocking you have to do.
